This artwork i did a few years after watching documentaries of the 400 years of injustice and geniside across Africa. More specific congo and rubber tree farming. The idea come from how the colonies would get men of said village to go out and harvest rubber trees. If found sick or you are unable to meet the quota, hands and noses where cut off.
